Handmade is back!

21 MAY 2017

Now in its fourth year Handmade has become one of the most anticipated events on both wine makers and wine lovers calendars, not to mention ours! It’s a day dedicated to making wine fun and approachable and learning from the kind of producers that put every effort into making their wines outstanding. We’ve come to think of it as a wine party, uniting like-minded people and providing an opportunity to sample incredible wines from local, interstate and international producers not always accessible to the public.

Once again every corner of the pub will be taken over by our favourite wine and food friends. This year is our biggest yet with over 50 producers and importers attending! The Line up of chefs is no less exciting. Mitch Orr from Sydney’s Acme is flying down and bringing with him his eclectic pasta magic. Thi Le will no doubt wow us with her sharp, modern approach to Vietnamese food. Our very own ArChan Chan will whip up some Ricky & Pinky inspired snacks and Meatsmith butcher Troy Wheeler will take charge of the rotisserie in the garden. And Handmade wouldn’t be Handmade without the precise and energetic presence of chef Josh Murphy, formally of Moon Under Water and freshly returned from Sydney.

Handmade is a celebration like no other in Melbourne. Lots of people who love wine having a truly grand time. We’re so proud to host it. Tickets on sale April 10 2017 via Eventbrite. $35 per person including wine and cheese tastings and accompanying snacks.
